International youth patriotic forum in Saint Petersburg

In May, St. Petersburg hosted the III International Youth Patriotic Forum at the Tavricheskiy Palace with the support of the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with NGOs.

We dealt with the key organizational issues: selection of a comfortable and modern venue equipped with the all necessary technical facilities; provision of accommodation and meals; transportation services; information support in mass media; outfitting; and printing products, as well as layout design for them.

The forum has already become a hallmark of the youth educational environment of St. Petersburg. That time more than 500 delegates from different regions of Russia gathered on the platform.

The participants had an opportunity to share experiences on implementation of projects in the field of patriotic education of youth; to take part in round tables and plenary sessions; to determine the prospects of the largest projects implemented by relevant social organizations.

The guests of honour of the forum were the Governor of St. Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko, a member of the St. Petersburg election commission, Nina Shubin, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, members of the party “United Russia,” the leaders of public organizations from different territorial entities of the Russian Federation and many others.
