In St. Petersburg, concerts of artists of South Africa to be held in the framework of the Russian–South African Cultural Seasons. The main purpose of the “Seasons” is development of cultural cooperation and strengthening of cultural ties between Russia and South Africa.
Our team has been in charge of technical assistance of that important cross-cultural event.
To organize one of the major event of “Russian–South African Cultural Seasons” – a concert within the framework of the V St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum – we not only have found an ideal venue for such a grand cultural event, but also engaged a professional orchestra, facilitated implementation of all the conditions of the artists’ rider, setting up an equipment and technical support of the event, as well as stage design. We have prepared information and printed products, organized ticketing programme, and, of course, we have not forgotten to invite the guests, sending them personal invitations.
The case remained for small: to arrange the arrival of delegation from South Africa to St. Petersburg. We picked the best air route and developed an event logistic plan. The delegation from South Africa was accommodated in the city best hotel and provided with full board, a translator, as well as an extraordinary cultural programme around the most famous landmarks of the northern capital.
The delegation from South Africa included vocalists and instrumentalists, dance company “Moving into Dance”, as well as a popular choir – “Mzansi Youth Choir”, which has performed in many countries around the world. The choir has become even more popular after the performance of the official FIFA World Cup song in 2010, held in South Africa.
